Agia Galini is one of the most famous seaside villages of Rethymno, located approximately 60 km south of the city.

It is very easy to reach as it connects to Rethymno with a high road and has regular bus rides. One of the most famous attractions of the village are two statues of Daedalus and Icarus standing above the harbor. From Agia Galini there are daily routes going to the Paksimadia islands, the beach of Agios Pavlos, the beach of Agios Georgios and Preveli.
